How long a cutter lasts is often determined by the collet holding it. Poor quality collets can wear out quickly and often result in broken cutters and sometimes damage to the router itself. That's why we only supply one standard of collet - the best. Please Note: We do strongly recommend that all collets are inspected and cleaned every time a tool is changed and renewed every 3 to 4 months under normal operating conditions.

TBN Ball Nose Cutters are used for true 3D CNC machining, such as mould or model making. The solid carbide TBN cutters are designed to remove material in a sweeping action around a CAD/CAM defined 3D shape. The smaller the diameter of TBN cutter used, the finer the 3D detail that can be achieved.

RPL28 end mill tools are manufactured from premium grade, solid carbide and have a special coating to deliver a longer cutting life when used to cut fibre reinforced plastics (SRBF) and certain glass reinforced plastics. The 6mm diameter shank format on the3mm and 4mm cutters delivers additional rigidity during the cutting process.

Single flute cutter technology is now widely used in conjunction with wood-based sheet products. WF50D tools feature a down spiral flute action that helps prevent the furring up and/or delamination of a finished or laminated surface. The best face finish will be achieved on the topside of the sheet.
